Campaigns

Overview
Targeted campaigns enable advisors and student support staff to direct proactive outreach to specific populations of students in need of supplemental attention. By putting a special focus on the students who they can help the most, advisors and support services are able to maximize the impact of their overall efforts.
The Slug Success platform makes it easier to run campaigns by helping users quickly build lists of students that fit certain profiles of interest, outreach with an easy link for the student to make an appointment or sign up for a service, and monitor responses.
Continue reading below to learn about the different types of campaigns available in Slug Success, and then follow the appropriate link(s) to learn how to set up and manage a campaign. Make sure you check the Slug Success Campaigns Calendar before you start an appointment campaign, and add your campaign to help coordinate with others and avoid conflicts for students.

Campaigns Calendar
The Slug Success Campaigns Calendar exists to ensure that Campaigns conducted within the Slug Success platform are not overlapping, or inundating students with emails. We encourage collaboration and coordination of services and outreach, so if you see another user/unit conducting the same campaign with the same population as you, please reach out to work together. Moreover, talk to your colleagues and plan your outreach together.
Step 1: Check the calendar before setting up and launching your campaign to make sure that you are not targeting the same population with a campaign at the same time as another user.
Step 2: If there are no conflicts with your campaign, add your campaign to the calendar.
