How to Schedule an Appointment in Slug Success

You can set up a time to meet with your adviser, counselor, or other staff member using Slug Success. Follow these steps to get set up:

1. On your Student Home Page, click on "Schedule an Appointment"

2. On the Schedule Appointment page, select the type of appointment you'd like to schedule, which type of adviser you'd like to meet with, and the reason that comes closest to why you would like to meet with an adviser from the drop-down lists, and click "Next"choosing appointment reasons

 3. On the next page, select the office where you would prefer to meet from the drop-down list, then select the adviser/counselor you would like to meet with, if you have a specific person in mind. Otherwise you can leave it blank and click "Next"choose-location.png

4. Use the left and right arrows to navigate to the week you would like to schedule the appointment and look for the blue boxes that represent an available time in the schedule. Click on the blue boxes on the days you would like to schedule the appointment. After choosing your preferred day and time block, choose the time you would like to schedule the appointment and click "Next"timeslot-selected.png

You can also click on the View Drop-in Times button to see when you can visit this office without an appointment (click Back on this screen if you want to schedule an appointment)

5. On the Confirm page, check to make sure all the details are correct and that you are free and can be at that location at the scheduled time. Be sure to enter some details about why you're scheduling your appointment in the "Comments for your staff..." box. To proceed, click "Confirm Appointment"appointment-confirmation-screen.png

After confirming your appointment, you will receive a final confirmation message.

You can then go to view the appointment on your calendar by clicking on "View My Calendar"

On your calendar you can see the confirmed appointment, and if you hover over or click on it, you can see more details as well as other actions such as contacting the person you're meeting with, or cancelling the appointment.

If you would like to cancel the appointment, head over to the Canceling an Appointment guide for a step-by-step walkthrough.

You and your adviser will both receive an email confirming that the appointment has been scheduled.
